From rehearsals through performances and finally post-show, a Stage / Backstage Manager supports and organises all of the numerous teams involved in the day-to-day functioning of a theatre production. They coordinate and interact with the entire organisation, as well as organise each team, to ensure that a production runs smoothly. Stage managers enable communication between all creative and technical departments, serve as the director's right hand, supervise sets, props, lights, and sound, and call all technical cues during performances.
